So this week’s music overdose goes to ASTR. We know what you’re thinking, who da fuq is that? We can also refer to this duo as Goddess and Beat Master (aka Zoe ASTR and Adam ASTR).
This pop/funk/soul/dance duo is by far one of the most underrated acts in the industry. They’ve got this dirty, gritty sound that just makes you want to dance like you’re at a club, and as their set goes on, you start realizing that maybe you could have been that professional hip hop dancer that you thought you could have been on those drunken nights at the club in college.
What’s amazing is that they’ve been biding their time in the electro-pop space for years. Zoe ASTR comes from a music family, but has really strived to earn her place in the industry while Adam ASTR has spent time working as a composer and songwriter that got him some global notoriety.
